Rissdon Jade was founded with a singular devotion: to bring beautiful natural jadeite to discerning collectors and jewellery lovers. Our journey begins in the jadeite mines of Myanmar (Burma), home to the most coveted jadeite on earth. For centuries, Myanmar jadeite has been prized by emperors, artisans and collectors for its incomparable colour, translucency and cultural significance.
We source from established suppliers in Myanmar, working only with stones that meet our standards for colour, translucency and structural integrity. Every piece is available with independent laboratory testing before it ships — and we tell you exactly what that report says, including anything it flags. What you see is what nature created, refined by hand.
Our atelier brings together traditional Chinese carving techniques with contemporary jewellery design. Each piece is conceived to honour the jadeite's natural character — its colour, its grain, its luminosity. Whether a carved dragon symbolising strength, a Pi disc representing harmony, or a polished bangle meant to be worn for a lifetime, every Rissdon Jade creation is a bridge between ancient artistry and modern elegance.

Authenticity
Every piece can be independently tested before it ships. We will tell you plainly what the stone is and what the report says — no treatment claims we cannot prove, no imitations, and no surprises after delivery. Certification is issued by accredited third-party laboratories and provided with the piece where a report has actually been issued.

Our artisans blend traditional Chinese carving techniques with contemporary design. Each piece is shaped to honour the jadeite's natural character — its colour, grain and luminosity.

About certification — read this before you buy
We do not claim that every piece already has a grading report. Laboratories issue reports per stone, and a report takes time. Each product page states the certification status of that exact piece. If a report has not been issued yet, the page says “pending” — ask us before ordering and we will either send the report or tell you it does not exist yet.
Where a report exists, it is issued by a CMA-accredited laboratory (China Metrology Accreditation) and states the stone's identity and treatment status. A report is evidence of testing, not a guarantee of value, colour preference or investment return.
